Intermedia is an upcoming art form that explores ways to engage a bigger audience. I interviewed Melissa Airy, a University of Iowa Intermedia graduate student, to learn what intermedia is. A recent performance, “It’s Time We Talk,” curated by Airy, allowed students and other artists to perform and explore intermedia as a new art form. Kylie Gava, a performer from “It’s Time We Talk,” describes her experience with Melissa in the classroom and in the performance space.
